There’s something truly magical about winter maternity sessions — the soft light, the crisp air, and the way the season naturally invites a sense of coziness and intimacy.
For this session, we started outdoors in Guelph, surrounded by fresh snow and the peaceful stillness that only winter can bring. My clients braved the chilly temperatures for about 20 minutes, and the results were stunning: soft natural light, beautiful textures in the landscape, and a quiet, romantic mood that perfectly captured this exciting time in their lives.
Once the cold became a bit too much (it was a true Canadian winter day, after all!), we moved to a warm, cozy indoor studio to continue the session. The shift indoors allowed us to capture a different side of the story — more relaxed, intimate moments that felt just as special.
Together, the outdoor and indoor images tell a full, beautiful story: the strength, joy, and anticipation of a growing family, set against the unique backdrop of a Canadian winter.
