I had the joy of photographing Des’ree and Emmanuel’s beautiful civic wedding ceremony at Toronto City Hall. Even with its simplicity, the day felt full of warmth, excitement, and genuine love. From the moment they arrived, you could feel how meaningful this moment was for them.
Toronto City Hall offers intimate wedding ceremonies at the East Tower's Wedding Chambers, available by appointment Monday through Saturday. You will need to bring a valid marriage license and two witnesses, but you can bring your own vows or special readings. Alternatively, there are also civil ceremonies available in the Old City Hall's original council chamber.

After the ceremony, we wandered around the iconic architecture for portraits, capturing their laughter, quiet moments, and the way they lit up around each other. It was intimate, heartfelt, and truly special to witness.
